Journalist claims Miguel Almiron now has TWO clubs planning to sign him this summer

According to Paraguayan reporter Luis Enrique Perez, both Arsenal and Inter Milan are ‘interested’ in signing Miguel Almiron this summer.

The ex-Atlanta star initially struggled in front of goal following his £21m move from the MLS last January, failing to score in any of his first 26 Premier League appearances – but his fortunes in the final third have changed.

After breaking his duck with a late winner against Crystal Palace back in December, the 26-year-old has gone on to score 6 goals in his last 17 games in all competitions – making him the club’s top scorer!

As revealed last night by Roberto Rojas – who’s been a close follower of Almiron from the US – it’s now being reported by a reputable source in Paraguay that the NUFC star has a couple of big admirers in Arsenal and Inter:

Now he’s got that monkey off his back following first strike in England, he looks far more confident in front of goal and a player with that unique blend of pace, endless energy and quality on key areas.

The latter still needs work, but it’s easy to see why some top clubs are showing interest in the eye-catching Paraguayan now he’s beginning to add goals and composure to his incredible work ethic and electric pace.

With interest in Allan Saint-Maximin and Martin Dubravka almost inevitable this summer, let’s hope Mike Ashley surprises us for the better this time and refuses to sell our star players this summer!

  1. Good to now we have 2 players getting rave reviews. £60 million should cover it with £20 million back in kitty for summer transfers. Until we are back in Europe and getting a top ten place we need to accept our best players will highly likely move on but we are getting there.
That’s not come from a source close to me either. Lol
