Day 6 without football for Newcastle United fans – Allan Saint-Maximin’s best bits (video)

If there’s one player we’ll miss watching over the next few months it’s Allan Saint-Maximin.

After looking back at ex-Mags Obafemi Martins, Shay Given and Nolberto Solano over the past three days, today we pay tribute to ASM – the explosive Frenchman who’s been a real breath of fresh air since completing a £16.5m move from Nice last summer.

The 23-year-old has lit up St James’ Park at times this season, entertaining fans on Tyneside both with his brilliant skill and unpredictability on the pitch and character off the pitch.

Without further adieu, here’s his best bits in a black and white shirt so far:

If that wasn’t enough, here’s more clips of him in action this season:

Martin Dubravka has been undoubtedly our player of the season so far, but Allan Saint-Maximin’s influence has been phenomenal for a young player in his debut season in the Premier League.

Not only has he been our most entertaining player, our biggest threat and a one-man band at times based on his ability to get us on the attack out of nowhere, the stats show we win more, lose less, score more and concede less when he plays.

Here’s hoping we get to see him strutting his stuff at St James’ Park before too long!
