According to reports in Spain, Hatem Ben Arfa has just been rushed away from his hotel residence to protect him from a coronavirus outbreak in Valladolid.
This comes from Spanish publication Diario AS, who claim the former Newcastle United star has been ordered to leave his hotel room immediately – with him yet to find permanent accommodation two months on from his move to La Liga side Real Valladolid.
As a result, they claim the 32-year-old has now been housed within Real Valladolid’s youth team facilities, which is close by the Spanish side’s home ground.
Ben Arfa has made just two appearances for his new club, having signed as a free agent on a six-month contract in January.
This comes after his 8-month break from the game, with Real Valladolid being the first club to offer him a lifeline after he was released by Ligue 1 side Rennes in June last year.
Take care, Hatem!
