Mike Ashley told to do the right thing with “immediate effect” by the NUST amid coronavirus crisis

The NUST (Newcastle United Supporters Trust) have released a new statement addressing the club amidst the current coronavirus crisis.

With all football postponed and no return date set as this global pandemic persists, they’ve called for Mike Ashley / Newcastle United to ‘suspend all Season Ticket renewals and all payments on future Season Tickets with immediate effect’.

Here’s what the NUST have had to say during their latest statement released this week:

WE’RE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER

On behalf of all the Board of the Newcastle United Supporters Trust (NUST), our thoughts are with anyone who has been affected by the coronavirus pandemic, and everyone working hard to keep us safe. We are with you. We support you.

We are in unprecedented times.

Almost all of the work of Trust is on hold, all meetings and face-to-face contact is suspended indefinitely.

However, we must, and we will, continue to stand up for our members and the wider Newcastle United supporter base when we need to.

Today, we need to.

“We call on Newcastle United to suspend all Season Ticket renewals and all payments on future Season Tickets with IMMEDIATE EFFECT.

We all have to adjust to a new way of life and for many that means financial difficulty now and in the future. We therefore reiterate our call to Newcastle United to provide relief and support to its own supporters by suspending all Season Ticket renewals and payments with immediate effect.

STAY AT HOME. STAY SAFE. PROTECT THE NHS.

A classy message and one that Mike Ashley must listen to, with this following on from yesterday’s message from Toon For Change, who’ve also urged the club to suspend all ST direct debit payments.

Mike Ashley has a lot of making up to do – especially after his shameless attempt to keep Sports Direct stores open and his hiking of prices for indoor equipment available online – but we won’t be holding our breaths for a positive response here.

Let’s hope he can prove us wrong. It’s the least he can do!

  1. Cancel your direct debit with the bank is the first thing you should do

Second thing boycott all Ashley stores because this man will when this viral epidemic finishes will be on the prowl for other high street stores that have gone to the wall and purchase them

This man has no morals he will forever think of number one which is himself

He will never do a Brighton arsenal both Manchester clubs chelsea and even Stevenage and other clubs are doing for there community and NHS staff in there areas because this is not in the mans makeup

His one aim in life is to be the number 1 man of the high street and to do that he needs his cash cow SDFC to fund all his future purchases
