Allan Saint-Maximin is back in good form on social media – this time with a brilliant response to Mackem ‘star’ Chris Maguire.
The Sunderland attacker had a cheeky dig at Newcastle United over last week, saying he’d never want to play in black and white when the Scot was asked ‘us or Rangers’ on social media.
Now, our entertaining Frenchman has responded to the cringeworthy clip on Twitter with a GIF which probably sums up how most on Tyneside felt after hearing Maguire’s desperate attempt to get one over his new North-East rivals!
This comes from a man who celebrated scoring against our U-23’s last season as though he’d bagged the winner at Wembley to get Sunderland back into the second tier!
As for ASM, he’s continuing to entertain us during his difficult period of self-isolation. First we had him training in his full NUFC kit, then playing footy in the garden with his dog – and now he’s shutting down mouthy Mackems on social media!
