After seeing today’s documentation published on Companies House, Simon Jordan has told TalkSPORThe believes Mike Ashley may finally be on the verge of selling Newcastle United.
As a former Palace owner, he gives an interesting insight into the documents that Newcastle fans have desperately been looking to work out over the past few hours – and his latest comments are promising for us fans desperate to see the end of Ashley’s regime.
Here is a segment from Jordan, who appeared on Jim White’s mid-morning show
As he states on several occasions, something is clearly going on here, with this appearing to set the wheels in motion for a transaction between the two parties.
He says that Ashley may feel the time is right to sell up, which would suggest that the value of the club could drop drastically when the inevitable economic crisis occurs on the back of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Now could be seen as the perfect time for him to wash his hands from us and move on, after 13 unpopular years at the helm – something that is bound to have taken its toll on him. I’m sure the rumoured £300/350 million that’s being mooted would soften the blow!
A deal between St James’ Holdings and Amanda Staveley’s PCP is clearly afoot and, as he implies, that can surely only mean one thing?
It’s hard to not get carried away with all this speculation, despite being let down on numerous occasions time and time again.
For the sake of every Newcastle fan around the world, we’re praying that this is true!
concerned the coupon loan, will actually not carry a caveat he still has a say, this for me would require clear and precise clarification,
the very least would be the removal of all association with SD from the entire framework of any deal,

Isn’t it to much of a coincidence that he is taking flack for the furlough payments
Seems every time he gets any flak a day later takeover news
Happens to many times

Until there is an Arab bloke or boss eyed Staveley standing with a scarf above their head in the centre circle of St James’ Park, Then it is still just speculation !

As a 34 yr old man, I have okay memories of Keegan’s teams of the 90’s era…
Now, hopefully I get to witness during my life-time Newcastle United eventually winning some meaningful silverware?
If that were to happen sometime in near future, I would be a very happy NUFC supporter!
