Mohammed bin Salman’s brother drops new hint on £300m Saudi takeover at NUFC

Some intriguing movement has just been spotted on social media today, giving Newcastle United fans fresh hope that a £300m takeover really is imminent.

This comes via Mohammed bin Salman’s brother – Saud Bin Salman bin Abdulaziz al Saud (@HRHPSAUDS) – with it being picked up on in the last few moments that one of his 91 followers on Twitter is now Newcastle United (@NUFC).

See it for yourselves via the pictures below:

Eagle-eyed Newcastle fans have also spotted him following @NUFC on Instagram as well, adding fuel to the fire when it comes to an eagerly awaited takeover announcement:

The significance of this is impossible to pinpoint, but it’s certainly an intriguing new follower of Newcastle United and a sign that something is about to happen.

The wait for an official announcement is tedious and unbearable for those who are naturally cynical, however all the signs point to a takeover being a case of ‘when’, not ‘if’.

Good things come to those who wait..
