The Premier League have confirmed that the 2020/21season will begin on the 12th September – making a decision on the Saudi takeover front all the more important now the new campaign is just SEVEN weeks away.
They also reveal that the final round of matches will take place on the 23rd May 2021.
With this in mind we are now just weeks away from the new season, making it all the more important that we not only see a resolution ASAP to this tedious takeover saga but also get moving in the transfer window – which officially opens on Monday.

Richard Masters said he hopes for a decision “shortly” the last time he spoke about the matter, yet here we are a month later being no closer to knowing what will come of this £300m bid that’s dragged on for far too long now.
