Premier League announce changes & progress made on takeover campaign – NUFC news round-up

A round-up of today’s NUFC news and gossip:

  • Following today’s Premier League AGM, it’s been confirmed that the five-sub rule and drinks breaks will be scrapped ahead of the 2020/21 season, with changes to VAR also been approved – Full story here.
  • The NUFC Trust have released an update sharing the long list of MPs who have agreed to challenge the Premier League over our ongoing wait for answers and clarity on the Saudi takeover saga after over 5,000 letters were sent out yesterday – Read their update in full here.
  • The petition asking for an investigation into the Premier League’s takeover process has passed 85,000 signatures, moving just 15,000 away from the 100k target – Sign it here.
