If there’s one Newcastle United players who’s looking in good shape ahead of the 2020/21 season, it may just be Dwight Gayle.
The NUFC striker not only ended last season in good form, bagging an assist and four goals in our final eight games, but has been spotted looking in impressive physical shape during a pre-season holiday with Andy Carroll and Jonjo Shelvey earlier this month.

Someone’s been hitting the gym and doing his sit ups, it seems!
That said, Andy Carroll couldn’t help but take the rip our of his fellow striker’s rock hard abs on social media, stating “You can breathe now @dwightgayle” in response to the picture he shared on social media!

Good to see squad members going on holiday together, with Florian Lejeune and Miguel Almiron also spotted going away together with their other halves soon after the 2019/20 season drew to a close.
Let’s hope they’ve returned fit, refreshed and ready for action, with the squad now in York for a week-long training camp ahead of the new 2020/21 season starting in September!
