Allan Saint-Maximin’s creative abilities aren’t just limited to his on-field displays, as he used his quick-wit to absolutely destroy a Sunderland fan on Twitter last night.
The fan attempted to mock Saint-Maximin and his colleague Joelinton over their lack of Premier League goals in comparison to their new signing Danny Graham (yes, really!), but the Frenchman’s response was hilarious and quickly silenced the Mackem.
Here’s the savage tweet to silence the seemingly deluded Sunderland supporter and mock their League One status:
His reply quickly went viral – it’s already gained over 150,000 likes – leaving the Sunderland fan soon regretting his wind up attempt and deleting his tweet!
It’s not the first time Saint-Maximin has had a dig at Sunderland either, mocking their forward Chris Maguire for saying he’d never play for Newcastle in April. No wonder he’s a fan-favourite!
It’s a shame he won’t be able to humiliate Sunderland fans on the pitch in a Tyne-Wear derby anytime soon! What a bloke.
