NUFC new boys Callum Wilson and Jeff Hendrick have been named in Alan Shearer’s Premier League team of the week.
Both summer signings played vital role in our 2-0 win over West Ham over the weekend, with Wilson scoring the opener and Hendrick smashing home late on to add to his assist and hand us all three points.
They join the likes of Mohammed Salah and Jamie Vardy in this week’s lineup, while fellow debutants Willian (Arsenal) Gabriel (Arsenal), Allan (Everton) and Castagne (Leicester) also making the cut.

Nobody can argue with either players inclusion this week, with ex-Burnley boy Hendrick even grabbing the assist for Wilson’s strike.
Wilson himself was a menace throughout and will be delighted to get the monkey off his back early in a black-and-white shirt.
Let’s hope a few Mags make his team this time next week after a win over Brighton!
