Papiss Cisse may be 35-years-old and nearing retirement, but that hasn’t stopped him banging in the goals out in Turkey.
After swapping Newcastle for China back in 2016, he then completed a move to Turkish side Alanyaspor – and went on to be one of the most prolific strikers in the Super Lig over the past two years, scoring a stunning 42 goals in 65 appearances for the club.
He finished 2019/20 on 26 goals, making him the second top scorer in the division, and has now landed a move to Turkish giants Fenerbahce.
That said, they have a LOT of explaining to do based on his bizarre announcement video that’s gone viral on Twitter!
What on earth was that?!
Either way, it’s good to see the Senegalese star who once lit up St James’ Park is still going strong and continuing to score goals wherever he goes!
Let’s hope his time at Fenerbahce is a little bit better than the club’s odd unveiling video!
