Rolando Aarons closing in on surprise Championship move after 8 years at NUFC – Report

It looks like Rolando Aarons could be closing in one a very hand move to the Championship.

This comes from the Daily Mail, who report that Huddersfield Town are in talks to sign the Newcastle United winger on a permanent deal.

They state that we are keen to cash in on him while we can, with him set to lose him on a free next summer if we fail to receive any form of fee before tomorrow’s EFL deadline.

Considering Aarons’ most recent loan spells have been at Motherwell and in League One with Wycombe, a move to the Championship with Huddersfield would probably be perfect for him and a deal that makes sense for all parties.

He’s 24 now and clearly has no future at Newcastle United, so let’s hope we can get a little fee and he can go on to get his career back on track in the second tier.

We don’t know the details, but it’s time he, Lazaar and Saivet moved on, with the trio doing nothing but train to pick up their considerable pay packets at St James’ Park these days.
