Sky Sports have released some impressive stats that show just how important Allan Saint-Maximin is to this Newcastle United side.
Figures reveal that we have won a whopping 46% of the games he has started in compared to a measly 6% when he isn’t in Steve Bruce’s starting XI.
Our points per game total increase to 1.6 from a poor 0.6 when he isn’t in the side and we score an average of ONE goal more per game when he starts – underlying just how crucial he is to our cause.

As you can see above, we even concede almost double the amount of goals when he is not in the team, likely due to our opponents not fearing our attack nearly half as much without him in it!
