New relegation odds released after NUFC’s shocker at Southampton – Interesting update

The bookies have released a new set of relegation odds following the latest round of Premier League results.

Although Fulham, West Brom, Burnley and Sheffield United remain favourites, picking up just ONE win between them eight games into the new season, we are deemed the next most likely to go down following a dismal 2-0 defeat at Southampton over the weekend.

Brighton then come next, with Graham Potters side yet to pick up three points in the league since their 0-3 win at St James’ Park in the second week of the new 2020/21 campaign!

Here’s the odds in full, followed by the current Premier League table – which currently has us eight points clear at present in 13th place:

  • Fulham – 1/3
  • West Brom – 2/5
  • Burnley – 10/11
  • Sheffield Utd – 11/8
  • Newcastle Utd – 7/2
  • Brighton – 4/1

Next up come the likes of Crystal Palace (7/1), Leeds (10/1) and West Ham (12/1), however the bookies odds at present suggest they are not in the picture for a potential dog fight as things stand.

Personally, I think we’ll have too much to go down in the end – although a big part of my confidence comes from the fact there seems to be four VERY poor sides in the league this year in Fulham, West Brom, Burnley and Sheffield United.

Our current league position in the table and points tally – which has us comfortably clear of the drop zone as things stand – suggests we shouldn’t have to look over our shoulder this season, however the bookies clearly recognise how bad this Newcastle United team can be under Steve Bruce after that Friday night horror show at St Mary’s.

  1. MANAGER NEEDED AT NUFC

Bruce has proven he can’t manager in the Championship either!

NUFC Board – keep this numpty and you’ll see the value of the Player’s fall EVEN further – hard to believe I know!

Get a ‘MANAGER’ and you’ll see huge returns on the pitch and attracting quality players = you’ll see a UNITED TEAM
