It was an evening full of mixed emotions for a few of our Newcastle United stars last night, with Ryan Fraser, Jamal Lewis and Martin Dubravka all finding out if their country would qualify for Euro 2021.
It was heartache for Jamal Lewis as his Northern Ireland side lost in extra time to Slovakia, however his loss was Dubravka’s gain – with a brilliant clip emerging of the NUFC stopper celebrating the win from his home on Tyneside!
Here’s the moment he knew he was heading to next summer’s European Championship’s, captured by his partner on Instagram!
It will be great to see the big man at next year’s tournament, where he will face up against Spain, Sweden and Poland in a tough-looking Group E.
Not only that, it can only be seen as a positive to see how freely he is moving in the clip above, with him yet to feature this season after picking up a heel injury in pre-season!
Although Karl Darlow is doing a brilliant job between the sticks, it will be good to have our player of the year for 2019/20 back in the fold.
