Ant and Dec aimed a not so subtle dig at Steve Bruce live on ITV’s ‘I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here’ last night.
After Dec claimed that none of the 500 channels in his hotel room were showing the Chelsea game, Ant snapped back saying he was ‘lucky’ to have missed it – insisting “there’s no plan B!” from Newcastle in what turned out to be one of the easiest wins the away side are likely to have all season.

While some will have got a laugh out of Ant’s mini-rant, which will be taken by many with a pinch of salt, it shows that two of the Toon’s most high-profile fans were anything but impressed by what they watched over the weekend.
They aren’t the only ones to complain either, with it being noticeable that Alan Shearer, a ‘mate’ of Steve Bruce’s, criticised the NUFC boss for the first time during his post-match assessment on Match of the Day, asking him to take some responsibility from another ‘negative’ performance.
Sadly, it’s difficult to tell if there was even a plan A when looking back on our last two defeats, with us failing to lay a glove on either, looking all at sea defensively, pitiful in attack and as if we were beaten before we even stepped out onto the field.
You’d think there’d be a response at Palace on Friday, but I expected that against Chelsea after the Southampton defeat, and look what happened there…

Made me LOL when after the game Bruce came out saying Chelsea have a Top Top Defence (!?)

..that Cry’s to the press, gets his FAMILY to come out and defend his lack of ANY idea on how to Manage!
This guy has Blagged his way into management after being under a great manager – wake up – it doesn’t rub off when yr just told to go out and stop the ball and player getting past you & the biggest problem is he was told to use his head on the pitch but numpty Bruce took it literary!!
We’ll see another 5 changes as Bruce just hopes that it Might work!
If I was a players agent or just friend I’d advise to get clear of this numpty – not the club – so as long as Ashley plays God the value of players go through the floor
