Some much needed good news has arrived ahead of Saturday’s clash with West Brom, with Callum Wilson confirming on social media that he is fit to play.
As we know, a mass Covid outbreak means several senior players will be missing the game and stuck self-isolating instead – however our star man and top scorer is clearly not one of them!
Here’s what he’s posted on Instagram tonight following the squad’s first session back at the Benton base this afternoon, confirming it was “Good to be back training with the lads”:
With so many wondering just how weakened we might be ahead of this weekend’s clash with the Baggies, it really is great news to see that our talisman is fit and ready to go.
He’s bagged a superb seven goals and two assists already this season and given us that predator we’ve been badly missing since Steve Bruce took the job.
If there was one player I wouldn’t want to see us without against a leaky West Brom side it’s him, making this bad news for the Bilic and brilliant news for Bruce!
