According to The Chronicle, Newcastle United ARE interested in bringing Jetro Willems back to St James’ Park this month.
The 26-year-old has dropped a whole host of hints that he’s keen to return over the past year, and it now seems we’re eager to make that dream a reality.
This comes from Mark Douglas, who states that he will be available at a considerably lower fee than the £10m ‘option to buy’ included in his last loan deal.
This is due to the fact he’s out of contract in the summer and a player Frankfurt are eager to shift off their wage bill now he’s refused to sign an extension with the Bundesliga side.
Elsewhere, Lee Ryder’s latest piece for The Chronicle reveals that we’ve been offered the chance to sign Leicester City midfielder Hamza Choudhury.
The former England U-21 international has struggled for game time under Brendan Rodgers this season and is eager to get regular first-team football.
It’s not stated whether we’ve been offered the chance to sign him on a permanent deal or until the end of the season, however you’d think we’d only be interested if it was the latter, with Bruce’s latest comments suggesting he’s shopping in the loan market once again this winter.
Last but not least, the same article states that Steve Bruce is also “in the queue” to sign Man United full-back Brandon Williams.
Given he plays in the same position as Jetro Willems, you can only presume it would be one or the other.

As long as they steer clear of Bentad!ck & Jones from ManU
Stick of the lack of MANAGEMENT at NUFC
Bruce just isn’t a manager – how long do we have to put up with the NUMPTY – we have some very good players but Shelvey and Gayle need to be sold to fund players of quality!
We’ve enough Midfielder’s and need at least one striker!!!!!
