According to The Telegraph, Bournemouth assistant Graeme Jones is on Tyneside and all set to be added to the club’s coaching team – and his appointment could be followed by the arrival of a mystery loan signing.
This comes from Luke Edwards, who claims that the club are ‘close’ to signing an unnamed player on loan, stating that the deal could be confirmed as early as tomorrow.
As for Jones, he watched the game at St James’ Park last night after Newcastle agreed a £250,000 compensation fee with Bournemouth, with his arrival now imminent.

The fact Jones’ arrival is a ‘show of faith’ in Steve Bruce is pretty damning considering last night’s defeat made it ELEVEN without a win.
Bruce should be out of a job by now, not getting backed, however it is at least a positive to hear we are close to landing a player on loan.
Hamza Choudhury from Leicester, perhaps? Brandon Williams from Man United? Who knows, maybe even Jetro Willems?
All will be revealed in the next day or so, it seems…

Evedently Cabbage heads way isnt working either.
Lewis is not worth the 15 million we paid for him. Everytime he gets the ball it either goes back or sideways and 99% of the time he runs about like a headless chicken. Shelvey wants a good kick up the backside as he shows you what ability he has but it looks as he doesnt care anymore. Hendrick I would give him his bus fare back to Burnley. Lacelles needs to give up the captains armband as he is not a leader anymore and some of his game needs to be seriously looked at.
He has got players on the bench that has passion to succeed for the club and yes some maybe not quite good enough but at least they will die for the shirt they are wearing. i.e
Dubravka, M Longstaff, Carroll, Ritchie,Gayle.
Bruce needs to grow some balls and resign as a true Geordie would if he cares for the club as he knows and it shows he has not the ability to turn things around and is just waiting for his golden handshake from the Cockney barrow boy.
It just proves this as they now are going to pay compensation of £250k to our 2nd team Bourenmouth for Graeme Jones as his appointment as coach which is intended to be a show of faith in Steve Bruce who was behind recruitment him.

cannot believe this guy Bruce, plus a number of his players actually get paid for performing this tripe, have been a supporter for over half a century, but recently it is too bad to watch. i wonder what actually happens on the training ground, as passing to the opposition is the order of the day, players anything but fit and only opposition players around when throw ins are taken. afraid it will be championship soccer next season

I agree with almost everything you wrote above apart from Carroll he was past it when he came back and I couldn’t believe his signing. I was a Carroll fan first time round, but now he’s just preventing another young hopeful getting on the bench. Joelinton is being villanised for being a hopeless striker where’as anyone who has looked into his history will know he isn’t a striker. We have too often paid over the odds for average players and more often than enough played them out of position only for them to become stars after we sell them. Now we have a problem of not scoring enough goals; which has been a problem for years now, so what do we get quoted as going for yes defenders. I’m 69 yrs of age and followed the team since 1962. I have seen lots of bad managers, players and tactics but never have I been so fed up with the state of affairs now. PLEASE SAVE OUR TEAM BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE!

They rave about Wilson, his first touch is pathetic, Rondon was a far bigger handful for defenders and he held the ball up far better and brought other players around him into the game far better than Wilson.
In Wilson’s defence Bruce’s tactics would make Aguero look poor.

We have the players just Bruce picks the wrong team and wrong formations – we need someone who has a better idea for each game with the team we are playing against and what formation and players to use – Hendrick is a waste – Dummett is a waste – use Anderson Marty Longstaff and what happened with the visa issue with Yedlin should the club not have had that sorted – get Jetro back on loan – get Billings in from Bournemouth – get josh king from Bournemouth
