NUFC receive offers for both Longstaff brothers & Yedlin now ‘hours’ from Galatasaray – Reports

According to The Chronicle, Watford have been in touch with Newcastle United over a possible loan move for Sean Longstaff.

Lee Ryder insists that the 23-year-old prefers to stay at St James’ Park and fight for his place, however does note that his exit would free up a place in the squad – therefore another potential loan signing.

Interestingly, this comes after the Watford Observer confirmed earlier today that the Hornets have also asked the club about a potential move for younger brother Matty – not that his exit would free up a space in Bruce’s 25 given he’s classed as an U-23.

Elsewhere, Sky Sports have confirmed in the last few moments that DeAndre Yedlin is about to land in Turkey to complete his move to Galatasaray.

As Keith Downie states in the tweet above, a medical and move to the Turkish Super Lig is now imminent should he pass fitness checks with no issues, with The Chronicle’s Mark Douglas stating earlier that the two clubs agreed a ‘six figure fee’ yesterday.

This will crucially fee up a space in Bruce’s squad, meaning a potential arrival on loan could be incoming.

On the subject of signings, Lee Ryder also reports that Leicester are now looking at Watford’s Nathaniel Chalobah – a deal that could see them sanction Hamza Choudhury’s proposed move to St James’ Park.
