According to The Telegraph’s Luke Edwards, the club are not even considering a move to sack Steve Bruce.
This comes despite last night’s defeat at Old Trafford being our 12th defeat in the last 16 games, with us now just three points above a third bottom Fulham as a result.
Edwards does insist that this stance ‘can change in a flash’ if Mike Ashley decides to intervene, however he’s been told that the NUFC owner is adopting a ‘hands off’ approach to decision making at the club – claiming we are ‘low on the list’ of his priorities at present.
Read his damning update below:
It really does say everything you need to know about the abysmal running of this football club that we are hurtling towards a THIRD relegation of the Ashley era, yet the man ‘in charge’ wants nothing to do with us.
We’ve been a sinking ship waiting to hit that iceberg ever since our insipid owner replaced Rafa Benitez with Steve Bruce, yet it seems Mike Ashley STILL has his head in the sand.
If we lose to Wolves this weekend and Fulham beat Crystal Palace, we will be in the relegation zone.
If that’s what it’s going to take for action to be made, we may well have left it too late…again.

Steve Bruce has brought all teams down were ever he has been. it makes me wonder is he paid to bring us down by mike ashley.
