Video: Richard Keys’ laughable reaction to ‘Bruce out’ banner & latest Mike Ashley defence

Richard Keys is something else, isn’t he?

Speaking prior to our 1-1 draw with Wolves on Saturday night, the disgraced former Sky Sports presenter declared, “I don’t know what Newcastle fans want if not Steve Bruce!” in response to the Wor Flags banner calling for the NUFC boss to be sacked.

The Bein Sports host also defended Mike Ashley in all of this, insisting he’s “well within his rights” to back Bruce and “run the club how he sees fit”, as if us fans have are pressuring him into some knee **** decision.

Watch it for yourselves below, with Keys’ comments suggesting he’s completely forgotten the fact we’ve lost 12 of our last 17 games and are fourth bottom of the Premier League:

Nicky Summerbee’s assessment isn’t much better in the second half of the clip, with him acting like we are part of the problem.

As for Keys, it’s as if he doesn’t know what to say because there is no longer a way of defending Bruce…yet he desperately tries to anyway via repeating himself, prolonged periods of silence, hand gestures and lazy comments on Mike Ashley.

Put it this way, if Rafa Benitez had us in this position with two wins in 14 games he’d be up in arms – but because it’s good old ‘Brucey’…

  1. Why? Why? Why?
Why are you giving this fat, sweaty, little sexual deviant attention…
If you ignore him he will crawl back under his slimy rock..

Sexual deviant? because he allegedly had an affair with his daughter’s friend – a 28 year old woman?

It’s almost as if you waited until after the Wolves match (hoping we didn’t win) so you could say that, knowing full well that in his last season Rafa had a streak where he won only 3 out of 14.
But only 2 out of 14 is much much worse than Rafa!

    Sad sad sad sad sad!
