DeAndre Yedlin’s start to life in Turkey has certainly been eventful, with the former NUFC full-back making the headlines for good and bad reasons tonight.
Not only did he score his first goal for Turkish giants Galatasaray (watch it below), he’s been slated on social media for diving, conceding a penalty and later seeing red for a second yellow card in a 4-3 defeat to Rizespor – a game that was decided by a 94th minute strike.
Here’s clips of all of the above on a frantic Friday night in Istanbul for our recently sold right-back!

Yedlin handball leading to a penalty:
Yedlin dive:
Poor defending by the former Mag – which initially led to a penalty before officials claimed contacted was made outside the box – and an avoidable red card.
That said, he was lucky not to be sent off sooner if the above dive is anything to go by!
The defeat for Galatasaray is a potentially disastrous one, with them missing the chance to leapfrog Besiktas at the top of the Turkish Super Lig.
