Bruce Out – Sack him TONIGHT

I write this as I sit on my sofa angry yet entirely unsurprised by the fact relegation rivals Brighton are 3-0 up against a Newcastle United side hurtling towards the Championship under Steve Bruce.

We’ve seen some absolute dross during his dismal stint in the dugout, but this really was a new low – and that’s saying something based on the abysmal standards this man has set since arriving at the club over 18 months ago.

Before tonight, Brighton had won ONE of their last 20 home games in the Premier League. Their biggest win of 2020/21 was their 0-3 win at St James’ Park on the second weekend of the season, yet here we are again – and it could’ve easily been four or five (not to mention the fact we didn’t have a single shot on target!)

This was a game billed as a ‘must-win’ by many and one Bruce vowed to attack, yet THAT is what we got served up on a night that could’ve sent us FIVE points clear of Fulham following their defeat to Leeds last night. I thought Sheffield United away was bad, but this was on another level given the stakes were so high and the opposition so out of form on their own turf.

He lost the plot a long time ago, but tonight it was abundantly clear that Steve Bruce has lost the dressing room. How can any player have faith in a man that sets his team up like that in a game we had to win?!

There is now over two weeks before our next game, giving us one last ideal opportunity to get Steve Bruce out of our club before it’s too late.

It may well be too late given our upcoming fixtures and injury list, however we remain two points clear of Fulham with a game in hand – so I’d argue that an improvement on Bruce (not difficult) and any new manager bounce could yet see us survive at Fulham’s expense if Mike Ashley acts now.

A pathetic display that stunk of relegation and a dinosaur of a manager who needs to go TONIGHT.

BRUCE OUT.

  1. Absolutely disgrace tonight no one in the team seems interested. What will Bruce say there was some positives to b taken into the next game. This clown has ruined our club, get rid of him its probabaly already to late for a new manager to make any difference now tho.

  2. Isn’t it amazing how every football pundit on tv were non stop banging the Steve Bruce drum all season saying how good a job he was doing, when every nufc fan see it for what it was a disaster waiting to happen. I think Ashley will just shrug his shoulders and say il just spend my way out of the championship. It is his stupidity that has caused this mess no pl club would have touched Bruce with a 20 foot barge pole, yet Ashley paid 6 million for him, which says everything.

  3. I agree !!
Bruce out which should have happened months ago . He is not up for the job from the word go !!
Maybe it was a bet between him & his mate shearer , who knows but it stinks to the high heavens and always it’s the fans who suffer !!
I say all season ticket holders cancel or stop paying any money until us the fans get to see decent football with players who want to play their hearts & souls out for the club every game & not when it suits them !!
I am very upset and appalled by the whole situation, which is my choice because of COVID it has been made apparent than ever WE as fans need to walk away !!

  4. Not a Shot On GOAL, Shocking, how is this man still in a job, has not got a clue, tonight just showed these players don’t won’t to play for him, and did Jokelinton get a kick of the ball?

  5. The stats for tonight’s match say it all, Bruce just doesn’t know how to set a team up and should be sacked, he should never be offered another position as a manager anywhere EVER!
This type of s..t has been served up from the last 6 games of the 2019/2020 season all through this season.
We have lost the ability to defend through this clown, at least with Rafa we were reasonably difficult to beat.
How many players and teams have ended a barren goal scoring run or a run without winning games against us.
THE STATS and the FACTS don’t lie, only FAT MIKE and his YES MAN don’t believe it.

  6. I don’t understand why steves still here. No progress at all in his time in charge. Poor performance, poor decision making in team selection, poor attitude throughout the club, including the players, they need to stand up and earn their fkn mahoosive wages. But this still comes back to Steve Bruce. Even formations and tactics are p%$s poor. I think I’ve had enough as a fan of our great club, of disappointment, of unwanted and under qualified management, of players here for a wage not the shirt and last but not least, Mike Ashley. No more. Please

  7. Another defeat, it’s obvious he’s lost the dressing room, but the positive’s Steve says the pies were ace, Ashley and Bruce deserve each other but NUFC do not.

  9. I watched upto 2-0, we didnt try at all. No fight, no desire nothing. Brighton had won before kick off. This team is going down, we have nothing available to us thats premiership quality but surely the starting line up could have been same back 4, with Longstaff, Hayden, Fraser & Murphy in midfield with Carroll and Gayle uptop. At least we could have tried the target man and pacey striker, had someone up the field to win the ball. We still might have lost, but at least we could have tried to have a go at them. If im the opposition and i see Joelinton as the main striker im really happy, Almiron has been good in some games but should never have started today. just back from injury, he should have had 15-20 mins at the end. Im sorry but nothing will change next game apart from maybe Maxi and Wilson in the starting lineup, Hayden is a big big blow because hes the only midfielder that can defend. Maxi and Wilson wont get the ball. The system needs to change and we need to actually try to win games by focusing on attack as the try not to lose is not working because most the time we still lose. Bruce is too arrogant to accept hes got it wrong and he will not change anything. As long as we continue with this system were a championship team next season. Most of all though we DESERVE to be a Championship team next season. Were the only team in the leage that hasnt won in the last 6 games. and we have 3 points out of 18. We all know Bruce needs to be sacked, but he wont be, part of me wonders if Ashley is happy to be relagated so that the Premier League has no say on the takeover? food for thought?

  10. Bruce said “we where short of attacking options tonight”, Two Centre FOREWARDS sat on the bench, he is a joke, but we not laughing, Sack Him.

  11. Couldn’t agree more!… Wouldnt even consider that as a football team. No energy, no plan, no one knew what they were meant to do, selection was all wrong and it was a cometw insult of a team who don’t deserve to wear that strip! I thought Bruce seemed like a nice guy but sadly he is soft, cowardly and ignorant and can not do the job to save his life! #BRUCE OUT!

  12. . Hopeless. Doesn’t even realise he sends out a slug and a donkey every week. No wonder the rest lose heart

  13. Damned coward CABBAGE for brains!!! Only he can make Brighton look like it is Bayern Munich we are playing with his sh*** negative tactics!!! 2 wins in 20 but we are improving??? I wish Matt Ritchie would have knocked some sense into his empty head!

Damned Ashley! That fat man is laughing his fat a** off tonight because he is delighted to take us down. He wants us relegated. It makes no sense but what other reason could he have for not sacking this dreadful mutt?

  14. Been a supporter since 1954 also season ticket holder and shareholder have witnessed many lows and of all the managers cant think of one that I feel so much animosity toward as the present one so many wrong decisions, he does not seem to grasp that draws against poor teams are not enough.

  15. To late for a change of manager . No one can save us now. We could see this coming months ago but the owner did fck all about it.
I could write page after page but it wouldn’t make me feel any better. Cabbage heed needs to go now. Graham Jones will have to step up until the end of the season. Try and offload some these politely put poor players and regroup and hope we can come back up at the first attempt. Can somebody tell me what the value of the club will be in the championship?

  16. A game we had to get a result he plays no strikers. He thought he was Pep I think but forgot he didn’t have 6 world class midfielders to make up for it. Why does he keep asking his assistants for advice he is clueless.

  17. What are u thinking now Mr Ashley you apointed a manager no nufc fan ever wanted. He was a yes man and that’s exactly what u was looking for. So look back what has he achieved????? He would be well gone if fans were still a trending games, do you want championship fottball???? He has lost the dressing room sack the man now swallow your pride and bring back Benitez, you will regret ever losing this quality manager but we all know nothing else matters as long as your not losing money. The sooner you and your clowns go the better then we get back to what Nufc, true supporters who only want the best for their club

  18. I think the club needs investigation for tanking -losing matches on purpose. How else can Ashley sell the club to his favourite money people without EPL approval, but conveniently end up being in the championship…

      (Quote)

  19. I want Steve Bruce out as the tactics were again too defensive against Brighton. They did not even have a single shot on target. This was a new low under Bruce. BRUCE OUT. Bring back Rafa Benitez

      (Quote)

  20. Bruce wants his money too leave but the fat controller won’t pay, it’s catch 22 situation, every week we look worse than before, bruce churning out some bollocks that “it’s the players & the injury list or bad luck”, every week he’s clapping his hands thinking’thats it he’s got to sack me after that’ but fat boy doesn’t care if we go down, were too strong to stay down well bounce straight back, unfortunately this time I can’t see it the squad just doesn’t look good enough to survive the fight of the championship promotion, and when we don’t get promoted he’ll dump a load of debt on the club and bankrupt it

  21. Sill think Fulham will be relegated and big Sam will avoid the drop and Andy carol will get game to keep Newcastle up and go on to play for England
