Watford fans reveal what they’ve made of Newcastle flop Achraf Lazaar so far – Oh dear…

Following an almost non-existent few years at Newcastle, I was interested to know what Watford fans have made of January signing Achraf Lazaar.

After all, we barely know what he’s like as a player given his last appearance in a black and white shirt came way back in 2017!

Since signing for the Championship side, the Moroccan has only featured three times – coming on in wins over Bristol City, Bournemouth and Birmingham.

That said, it seems Hornet fans have already seen enough to suggest he won’t be handed an extension when his initial six-month deal expires this summer!

Here’s what I found on Twitter when looking what Watford fans have made of the 29-year-old full back:

Jury still remains out on Lazaar who just seems a liability

Christ Lazaar is so bad

Lazaar isn’t staking a place in the starting line up.

Lazaar has no place in this squad.

If Lazaar were a pro golfer – I’d recommend he sack his caddy for poor club selection

Lazaar = 2 good things, 3 bad things, repeat

Lazaar is terrible isn’t he

I’d honestly rather watch Ngakia cut back on his right foot every time than watch Lazaar smash the ball out of play or lose it trying to turn

Lazaar absolutely stinks

Tell Lazaar to take his crosses from 20 yards back and they’ll be golden

Considering Watford are currently in second place and looking like making an immediate return to the Premier League, it seems Lazaar needs to seriously up his game if he wants to stay at Vicarage Road beyond this season!
