Achraf Lazaar howler leaves Watford fans fuming as NUFC flop goes from bad to worse – Video

Watford may be on course for an immediate return to the Premier League this summer, but it doesn’t look like they’ll be taking Achraf Lazaar with them!

The NUFC flop signed a surprise deal with the Hornets until the end of the season in February, however it hasn’t taken him long to leave Watford fans unimpressed.

After just three sub appearances since he signed, his first start of the season arrived at Luton last weekend – and resulted in an awful error that saw them lose 1-0.

Watch his howler 53 seconds into the clip below, with his abysmal back pass handing the Hatters a penalty:

It seems this isn’t the first time he’s failed to impress Watford fans, with us finding these comments on Twitter about the 29-year-old Morrocan:

Now I’m not one to exaggerate, but I reckon I’m a better footballer than Lazaar

Lazaar is a shocking player

Jury still remains out on Lazaar who just seems a liability

Christ Lazaar is so bad

Is Lazaar a competition winner??

I think I can see why Lazaar hasn’t been starting…

Absolute shambles. Lazaar is disaster

Don’t want to see Lazaar in this team again absolutely terrible player

If Lazaar were a pro golfer – I’d recommend he sack his caddy for poor club selection

Lazaar = 2 good things, 3 bad things, repeat

Lazaar is terrible isn’t he

I’d honestly rather watch Ngakia cut back on his right foot every time than watch Lazaar smash the ball out of play or lose it trying to turn

Lazaar absolutely stinks

Tell Lazaar to take his crosses from 20 yards back and they’ll be golden

Just a reminder that Lazaar should never put on a Watford shirt ever again…

He was a bit of an enigma during his time on Tyneside – some wondered if he had an attitude problem or simply wasn’t good enough – but it’s fair to say he won’t be getting a new deal at Vicarage Road ahead of their expected return to the Premier League!
