The Man Utd winger Newcastle could look to sign when he returns from Euro 2020

Daniel James is likely to be on the move from Man Utd this summer after struggling to break into the first-team at Old Trafford.

The 23-year old got off to a bright start with the Red Devils after joining in 2019 but has fallen down the pecking order under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Should their pursuit of Jadon Sancho become successful, the Welsh international’s future will be thrust further into doubt. It has been widely reported that he will be sold this summer, with Leicester City favourites for his signature.

Steve Bruce likes a player with Premier League experience and obviously has a good relationship with Man Utd, so could he be poised to get on the phone to Ole and try bringing him to Tyneside?

The pacy winger scored against us at Old Trafford back in February and hit a purple patch in front of goal after admitting to previously “losing his way” a little at Man Utd.

He has made the Welsh squad for the Euros and is tipped to be one of their bright sparks for the future.

Ryan Fraser and Allan Saint-Maximin are our standout wingers at present, but with Jacob Murphy now a converted right wing-back and Christian Atsu having moved on, could he be tempted with the chance of regular first-team football in the North East?

There are a host of fringe players at the bigger clubs we should be looking at and Daniel James is one of them. There is no reason why we shouldn’t be enquiring about him if he is on the move in this window.

  1. There is absolutely no chance Man Utd would let him go and certainly not on the cheap there is no chance he’d come to the circus we have as a owner and manager we have no money and no ambition. This is more laugh out loud clickbait. And the twits on twitter that make things up is unbelievable to funny!!
