Richard Keys now joined by Simon Jordan as new attack on Benitez arrives after Everton news – Video

Simon Jordan’s latest ramblings on TalkSport focus on Rafa Benitez and his complete contempt for him.

Like Richard Keys, who launched another laughable attack on the Spaniard last week, it seems the former Palace chairman is also hugely unsettled by the prospect of him landing the Everton job.

Check out the video here:

Jordan’s general hypocrisy is ridiculous as this is the same man who backs the likes of perennial managerial mercenaries Sam Allardyce and our own Steve Bruce.

He throws out this idea that Benítez uses clubs as stepping stones but doesn’t actually have anyway of backing up this idea, and you’d have to question why Benítez would need to move to Newcastle after Real Madrid to secure a move to China… it doesn’t make sense because it’s not true.

The only reason that Rafa Benitez isn’t the current manager of Newcastle United is because of Mike Ashley and Mike Ashley alone.

The fact of the matter is, a manager will inevitably be looking for a new job when they find themselves without. There is nothing strange about this.

Benitez would be a cracking manager for Everton. I would hate it but he would be a committed manager, dedicated to growing the team into something more than its current state.

Rafa did exactly what Jordan is claiming Everton needs. With us, cleared out the deadwood and started to build something good before it was all halted and torn apart from above.

Simon Jordan needs to actually think about the things he saying because he becomes more and more ridiculous every time he opens his mouth. Talking of ridiculous rants, here’s a reminder of what Keys said last week:

  1. Another cracking bit of hypocrisy from Dawson.

So you think Rafa, who managed Liverpool to success, would NOT be a divisive appointment for their great Merseyside rivals, Everton?

Having spent months slating Bruce essentially because he managed Sunderland you can’t see the irony in your argument?

I appreciate that it’s the modern thing to do to try to prove your manliness by criticising anything and everything that both Jordan and Keys say but you really are just showing yourself to be a bit of a mob-appeasing ****.

  2. I don’t know why anyone gives Jordan or Key’s air space, they are W******, with a capital W.
Jonny you surely must have better opinions/stories to write about than going over the rubbish opinions of those two.

  3. Another article about Jordan and Keys, who cares what those dinosaurs say !!

But don’t kid yourself only reason Benitez isn’t at St James Park is Ashley, let’s face the facts he went for the millions on offer from China he just had Ashley as a convenient excuse.

He was the most political manager we have had, always crying to the press etc about how tough his life was working under Ashley, not bad with millions to fall back on.

And we as fans would now be fed up up if he were still there, his style of play was so negative and he has a record that is very similar to Bruce’s, go figure.

We weren’t even the best side in the Championship the year we won it under Benitez, it was only Brighton choking in the run in that allowed that to happen.

Ohhhh for a takeover but let’s not have Benitez back, he is a manager from a forgotten era, a bit like Mourinho, their style of play will win nothing these days !
