Leaked image of NUFC’s new Castore kits arrives online ahead of 2021/22 – Photo

Our legendary grandad collar design looks set to make a comeback with new leaked images showing our potential new home shirt – alongside a purple jersey that looks like a potential goalkeeper top or third kit.

NUFC famously adopted the design between 1995-1997 when Adidas was our supplier. Kevin Keegan had his toon side flying and we were also sponsored by Newcastle Brown Ale, making the perfect cocktail for one of the Premier League’s most iconic kits.

Fast forward to 2021 and new supplier Castore look set to take us back in time as images surfacing on social media appear to show how we will look next season.

Take a look at the latest image leaked online…is the grandad collar making a comeback or are these images fake? The look pretty real to me!

Our training kits have already been released and have gone down well with supporters, but fans have been forced to wait for the new home shirt – and it looks like this could be it!

Both our traditional black-and-white home shirt and a fresh purple design appear to have the 90s era grandad collar – a move that is likely to produce a sense of nostalgia among supporters who were around at the time.

Would you buy it if this really is our first home shirt of the Castore era?
