NUFC release official Castore home kit for 2021/22 – First photos + unveiling video here

After yesterday’s ‘leak’ left everyone wondering, Newcastle United have now released images of the official Castore home shirt set to be worn over the 2021/22 season.

The shirt features the return of the grandad collar, features thick black and white stripes and an embroidered Castore logo, coming after the up and coming sportswear were announced as our official kit suppliers last week in what was the worst kept secret at St James’ Park this summer!

See below for the unveiling video and photos of our new home kit in full, which also shows a purple goalkeeper top:

The Athletic reported yesterday that the ‘multi-year partnership’ is in fact a bumper SIX-year deal – making it the most lucrative kit package in Newcastle United’s history.

This comes after the club also announced on Friday that KAYAK will be our sleeve sponsor for the 2021/22 campaign, alongside FUN88 as their front-of-shirt sponsor.

  1. Didn’t think too much of it at the start with the leaked pictures, but after seeing the official images and it on the players, I’m really enjoying it!

  2. I would have preferred it to have the stripes reversed with a black collar on a white centre stripe.

  3. It ain’t 1996 anymore what is the story with that kit? The concept kits a couple of weeks ago were beautiful. The big wide stripes are horrific, that 19/20 puma kit was the worst of the worst and this is it with a granddad collar. Look at the new Juventus kit beautiful young, vibrant, who wouldn’t want to wear it? I always look at Barcelona who are drenched in tradition but are so innovative with their kits, pin stripes, faded in and out stripes, a big centre stripe with smaller stripes, look at their new kit, brilliant. Castore need to get with the times.

  4. Has to be the worst football shirt I have ever seen for nufc. What representation of black and white stripes does it allure to try and show the world never mind fans. Would Italian juve fans be queuing for such a top. So they all have number 4 on the front, what in god’s name were they thinking, or have I just been sucked into a scam in this release is just an April fool and the real kit comes out next week ?
