NUFC line up double loan deal & £12m move for Ligue 1 star as Willock hopes increase – Report

According to the Daily Mail, Newcastle United are growing increasingly confident that they’ll re-sign Arsenal midfielder Joe Willock on a season-long loan.

The same report claims that we should have an answer within the next 48 hours, with Mikel Arteta delaying a final decision on the 21-year old’s future.

We’re also believed to be eyeing up a move for Marseille’s Boubacar Kamara, should a loan move for Willock go through, with the club attracted by the fact he can play as a holding midfielder or at centre-back – two problem positions for Steve Bruce.

A fee of around £12million has been reported for the highly-rated France U21 international, with us believing a cut-price deal could be on the cards now he’s entered the final 12 months of his current contract.

The Mail also claim that Bruce is also looking to sign Man Utd centre-back Axel Tuanzebe – a player believed to be available now Raphael Varane’s move to Old Trafford finally looks imminent.

The 23-year-old previously played under Bruce at Aston Villa and is in need of regular first-team football after slipping down the pecking order following the Frenchman’s big money arrival from Real Madrid.

Three talented players who’d not only work within Bruce’s budget but fit into Mike Ashley’s buying policy.

After months of talk and no action as of yet, it’s time we got some deals done with just over two weeks to go until the new season kicks off!
