Yoshinori Muto joins Barcelona legend as he signs for Japanese club after NUFC exit

After leaving the club by mutual consent last week, Newcastle United flop Yoshinori Muto has completed a move to Japanese side Vissel Kobe.

Not only has he sealed a return to his homeland, he’ll play alongside Spanish legend Andreas Iniesta and former Arsenal defender Thomas Vermalen in the J1 League, with the club signing him alongside former Barcelona ‘wonderkid’ Bojan.

The £9.5million striker failed to impress since being signed by Rafa Benitez in 2018, scoring just twice in a black-and-white shirt.

His astronomical wages were reportedly around £54,0000 per week, making him one of our club’s highest earners despite offering very little in return.

One thing we have done well this summer is push out players who were deemed surplus to requirements by the club yet still commanding high wages.

Muto follows Henri Saivet, Christian Atsu and Andy Carroll out of the door, as we look to free up space to bolster our squad ahead of the new season.

Good luck, Yoshi!

  1. Good move for Muto.

No need for the over sensationalising by using Barcelona and Arsenal lol
