New report claims NUFC to launch bid for Rangers star if ‘big offer’ arrives for Isaac Hayden

An ‘exclusive’ has emerged from TEAMtalk today, reporting that we’re eyeing up a late move for Ranger midfielder Glen Kamara.

Steve Bruce made it clear in yesterday’s press conference that permanent deals are highly unlikely, however it’s been suggested that this stance would change if one of Isaac Hayden or Sean Longstaff are sold.

On that subject, TEAMtalk are claiming that Newcastle will cash in on Isaac Hayden is a ‘big offer’ arrives for the 26-year-old over the coming week.

Watford have been linked with a move for the midfielder, and it’s now being suggested that we’ll look to replace him with SPL star Glen Kamara if an acceptable bid comes in.

This isn’t the first time we’ve been linked with a move for the 25-year-old – the same outlet credited us with an interest in the Finland international back in December last year.

Kamara has been described as the ‘complete midfielder’ by many is Scotland, with his outstanding all round displays playing a key part in Rangers’ title success last season.

He’s also stalling on a new contract at Ibrox and has talked up a potential move to the Premier League, saying it’s a ‘dream’ to play in the English top flight.

Perhaps an unpopular opinion, but this is a ‘one out, one in’ deal I’d be happy to do if Hayden really is unsettled, however there’s a lot of ifs and buts here and not long left until the window shuts next Tuesday.
