Watch angry Steve Bruce respond to Lee Ryder when quizzed on transfer policy – Video

A telling clip has been released from Steve Bruce’s press conference earlier today, showing the angered NUFC boss give some pretty ratty answers when asked questions about the club’s failure to back him this summer.

This morning saw him address our lack of activity on deadline day and the club’s odd statement for the first time since returning from his holiday in Portugal…

After snapping back to a local reporter when asked if he was ‘comfortable’ with the club statement released last week, he then gave an agitated response to Lee Ryder – who asked him to expand on the current transfer policy.

Watch his responses to the press below, with his face speaking volumes 34 seconds in:

He looks a frustrated man and was clearly struggling with the questions put his way by the local press, yet his overall message was to shrug his shoulders and say “it is what it is”…”what can I do.”

No one expected him to slate Mike Ashley and the club’s statement released last week, but his comments stink of a yes man who is taking his frustrations out on journalists doing their job – not the man who actually blocked the deadline day deals he’d been crying out for all summer.

  1. Hold On – i wouldn’t have let him bring in the players He wanted = Leicester Midfielder and Phil Jones!!!

We’ve got so many midfielder’s Bruce the clown has one playing as a left back = get Richie playing in his right position!!!

We had been linked with fresh talent but they went to other clubs as we only went after players of Hendrick’s level = 2nd division & that’s the Scottish Second Division!

Sorry but Bruce should have brought in At Least one Striker – Bruce said that he wasn’t after a Striker – and now only a few games in and Wilson is out (!!!?)

Bruce is praying to be sacked = the only job where one can make millions on failure

    WE NEED a MANAGER

  2. Sad but your looking at a man totally inept and out of his depth as a premier league manager, Come on walk away while you have some credibility left .

  3. The real problem is, there is no right man for the job at the moment, certainly not one who would take it.

All recent managers have been let down by the recruitment policy. The squad needed several new additions this summer especially a striker where we are woefully short.

Until the present owners change we will be stuck with this mediocrity no matter who the manager is
