NUFC confirm triple injury boost – but 6 nowhere to be seen ahead of Leeds clash

It looks like Ryan Fraser, Joe Willock and Ciaran Clark could all be fit for Friday night’s meeting with Leeds United.

The Scot was pictured on crutches during the international break and sat out of our 4-1 defeat at Man Utd, while Steve Bruce said after the game that both Willock and Clark had picked up ‘knocks’.

However, the club have confirmed that all three took part in Wednesday’s session at the Benton training base.

On the flip side, there were SIX players who were nowhere to be seen in any of the club photos – which you can see in full here.

We knew Callum Wilson (thigh) and Martin Dubravka (foot) remain out, but there’s also no Jonjo Shelvey once again, suggesting he’s still struggling with a calf injury that’s kept him out since our opening day defeat to West Ham.

Elsewhere, Paul Dummett, Sean Longstaff and Javier Manquillo appear to have missed the session, with all three not included in any of the club’s 49 photos on NUFC.co.uk.

Manquillo was believed to have picked up a knock at Man Utd, while Dummett is yet to feature this season.

As for Sean Longstaff, we’ll have to hope he’s ok and just avoided the camera on Wednesday – especially when he put in an improved display last weekend.
