Sky Sports’ Pete Graves has confirmed that the representatives of Manchester United attacker Jesse Lingard were in the stands at St James’ Park yesterday.
An intriguing photo has since emerged from Jesse Lingard’s ‘Jlingz’ Instagram account, showing his agency on Tyneside as they watched our 3-2 defeat to Tottenham.
The 28-year-old has been linked with a January move to Newcastle over the past fortnight, with The Telegraph claiming that we are considering a move for the England international in the new year.
It’s not yet known if he’d be keen on the move, but with him struggling for game time at Old Trafford and his representatives spotted at St James’ Park over the weekend, this could be one to watch in January.
Lingard actually turned down a move to Newcastle earlier this year, with him opting to join David Moyes’ West Ham instead of Steve Bruce’s NUFC back in January.
With him expected to be available, would you like to see him become one of the first signings of the Saudi era?
It’s not our highest priority position, but he is a good player.

Looks like somebody looking for a commitment from their club.
Pay rise, more game time, that sort of thing.
Like Matty Longstaff and all that Udinese guff.

Good player who knows the league would fit in with Max and Callum.
