Confirmed NUFC team vs Crystal Palace – Jones makes 2 changes from 3-2 defeat to Spurs

Following a 3-2 defeat to Spurs last Sunday, Newcastle take on Crystal Palace in today’s crucial game at Selhurst Park – seeing Graeme Jones take charge of his first match as ‘interim’ manager.

The team news has arrived ahead of the 3pm kick off, seeing us line up as follows:

STARTING 11: Darlow – Krafth, Lascelles, Clark – Manquillo, Hayden, S Longstaff, Ritchie – Fraser, Wilson, Saint-Maximin.

SUBS: Gilllespie, Schar, Joelinton, Lewis, Hendrick, Murphy, Almiron, Willock, Gayle.

So, it looks like a 3-4-3 in possession and a 5-2-3 out of possession, with Emil Krafth and Ryan Fraser replacing Joe Willock and Joelinton.

Elsewhere, Jonjo Shelvey misses out as he serves a one-game ban after he was sent off last weekend.

Here’s how Patrick Vieira’s Palace side have lined up, with Wilfried Zaha remaining on the bench despite overcoming a bug:
