Leaked photo from St James’ Park reveals intriguing work underway at new-look NUFC

One picture on social media got NUFC fans talking as it appears work is underway to improve the facilities available to the players at St James’ Park.

A photo – shared by @howaythaladd – shows Newcastle’s dressing room undergoing maintenance, claiming that a new fitness studio is being built next to the changing rooms.

See it for yourselves below:

The photo, as you can see, clearly looks like improvements are being made to upgrade St James’ Park for the benefit of the players.

Liverpool and Man City are known to have world class rehabilitation equipment inside their stadium, with side projects on Tyneside being neglected during the Mike Ashley era.

If state-of-the-art facilities are being built by the new owners, then this signals exactly what Toon fans have been craving for over a decade – a team that tries.

There has been no word on any upgrades to the away dressing room, however… which is notoriously one of the worst in the Premier League – on purpose, of course!
