“He has huge potential” – Tindall talks up another NUFC player ahead of Arsenal trip

After singing the praises of Joelinton this week, Jason Tindall has now talked up Joe Willock ahead of his return to The Emirates tomorrow.

The 22-year-old completed a permanent move to St James’ Park from boyhood club Arsenal over the summer, however he’s not quite hit the heights he reached last season – where he scored eight times in an outstanding six-month loan spell.

He’s yet to get on the scoresheet so far this season and has found himself in and out of the team. But, after an improved display in Saturday’s 3-3 draw with Brentford and some hard work on the training ground, it looks like he will keep his place in the side heading into tomorrow’s game in North London.

Here’s what NUFC assistant Jason Tindall has had to say about the ‘huge talent’ ahead of the match:

“He has huge potential.

“You saw that at Arsenal, on loan here last season and we’ve seen that on a daily basis.

“Now it’s for us to try and make him the best he can be.

“Hopefully he’s another player with a bright future who’ll keep getting better.

“He’s an exceptional talent, as everybody at this football club knows.

“He’s still got a lot of developing to do.

“We’ve been really pleased by Joe’s performances in training and the level of effort and commitment he showed against Brentford.

“He’s a huge talent and is going to be a really big player for this football club in the future.”
