Journalist names 11 Premier League players now under consideration as NUFC plot loan moves

A new report has named ELEVEN Premier League players currently under consideration at Newcastle United as the club look to fill their two domestic loan slots in January.

Graeme Bailey – a former Sky Sports reporter now at 90min – has revealed that Chelsea’s Ross Barkley and Ruben Loftus-Cheek, West Ham’s Manuel Lanzini, Tottenham’s Dele Alli, Liverpool forward Divock Origi and Man City centre-back Nathan Ake have all been discussed or offered our way.

He also claims that we’ve contacted Manchester United about the availabilities of Jesse Lingard, Anthony Martial, Nemanja Matic, Donny van de Beek and Phil Jones.

The same piece also states that Howe is keen on Bournemouth trio Lloyd Kelly, Philip Billing and Steve Cook, stating that the club are hoping to bring in as many as SIX new singings next month.

Overseas loan deals are also available to us, with many reluctant to sign on a permanent deal given our precarious league position, however he is another who believes Kieran Trippier is one of our top targets.

Staying with overseas options, Bailey reckons Edine Dzeko has been considered, while former Arsenal star Aaron Ramsey is though to be a player Howe is a ‘huge fan’ of, with the club aware that Juventus are ready to sell the Welsh international

Ligue 1 trio Boubacar Kamara (Marseille), Sven Botman (Lille) and Renato Sanches (Lille) are also named in the piece as players we have held conversations over, but it’s thought all three are more likely to become summer options should we stay up, with Kamara set to be a free gent at the end of the season and the latter pair unlikely to swap the Champions League knockout stages for a relegation battle.

  1. 3 Bournemouth players? Really?
Eddie Howe should forget all about his past associations with Bournemouth and concentrate on getting us greater quality additions from the Premiership and abroad.
With these owners we have to be thinking about bribing/overpaying only the best or we’ll have no chance to escape relegation.
Trippier, Botman, Sule, Lingard, Martial, Origi, Phillips, Barkley etc would be great as a future basis but Kelly, Cook, Billing and Ake – no way. As for Jones of Man U., I’ve seen better jokes out of a Christmas cracker!!
If we were to stay up we’d only have to jettison these players anyway once the huge purse strings open.
This upcoming window is vital and CAN NOT be wasted.

  2. Relax and dont believe reporters speculating! Best to comment when any deal has actually been completed.
