Two loan deals offered to NUFC: Midfielder Howe is a ‘big fan’ of & La Liga defender – Reports

Newcastle United have been offered the chance to sign both Aaron Ramsey and Samuel Umtiti, according to reports.

Starting with Umtiti, the Daily Mail have released a piece claiming that the Barcelona centre-back has been offered our way after slipping down the pecking order at the Nou Camp.

The French international, who is still only 28, has been stuck on the bench all season, starting just once in a 2-2 draw with Osasuna last month.

Simon Jones explains that the cash-strapped La Liga giants are eager to cut their wage bill and have handed us the opportunity to sign him on a loan deal which includes an option to sign him for £17m this summer.

Elsewhere, former Sky Sports reporter Graeme Bailey claims Welsh star Aaron Ramsey has also been offered our way.

In his latest ‘exclusive’ for 90min, Bailey states that Eddie Howe is a ‘big fan’ of the midfielder; who looks all set to leave Juventus after Massimiliano Allegri confirmed on Wednesday that the 31-year-old is ‘set to leave’ this month.

Like Barcelona with Umtiti, it’s said the Serie A giants are eager to offload him to reduce their wage bill, with the former Arsenal star believed to be on a whopping £200,000-a-week.

The report claims that a host of MLS clubs, along with Everton, Leicester, Wolves, Crystal Palace and Leeds are also keen on Ramsey, leaving him with a decision to make over his future.
