Trippier signs! - Full details, official unveiling video & first words from him & Eddie Howe
Newcastle United have announced the signing of England international Kieran Trippier!
The 31-year-old arrives from Atletico Madrid in a deal worth £12m (plus add-ons) and has signed a two and a half year deal (with an option of a further year) at St James' Park to become the first signing of the Saudi-backed era.
Trippier has worked with Howe before during his time at Burnley, has vast Premier League experience from his days at Tottenham and was named in La Liga's most recent team of the season after being a big part of the Diego Simeone side that were crowned champions of Spain for 2020/21.
