Surprise footage from Saudi Arabia as NUFC trio are filmed dancing with locals in the desert! – Video

A brilliant video has emerged on social media on Wednesday night, showing Jamaal Lascelles, Dwight Gayle and Fabian Schar dancing with the locals in Saudi Arabia!

The squad are currently in Jeddah on a warm-weather training camp, with us set to face Al-Ittihad in a friendly on Friday before returning to the UK over the weekend.

Eddie Howe has spoken of some ‘team-building’ activities that the players have been involved in this week, and it seems the latest one has been caught on film!

Watch the Toon trio embracing the local culture below, with Lascelles, Gayle and Schar (we think?!) getting up to dance in front of their teammates:

I’m not sure what’s more impressive, the drumming, the singing or Jamaal Lascelles being back in action so soon after limping off at Leeds with a hamstring injury!

Here’s what Eddie Howe told NUFC TV earlier today when asked about how the warm weather training camp has been so far:

“It’s hot, which is great when you are not training, when you are training the humidity is tough for the players.

“Finished a good day today, got what we wanted out of the session.

“So the lads are in good spirits and obviously boosted by the result [against Leeds] last weekend.

“I think naturally when you are together you feel the last result, that doesn’t leave you, a lot of positive emotions and feelings from that.

“The boys have been really good amongst each other, really positive.

“The facilities are very good here, the pitches are a good standard, we’ve used the gym regularly since we have been here, so we have had everything that we needed.

“A couple of team building activities as well, so really pleased so far, but more work to be done.”

  1. This isn’t great at all – this is the very sportswashing we were worried about when the takeover went through. By all means, love the club (I do). By all means, get excited about the future on the pitch (it’s hard, as a fan, not to). But we should be a million miles away from celebrating PR shots put on to humanise an inhuman regime. As fans, we can rise above that, surely.

  2. Don’t know why you felt the need to post a comment like that marsh looked harmless and good natured
