Gary Lineker has encouraged his beloved Leicester City to take a look at Lille star Sven Botman this summer – but Alan Shearer has other ideas for the Dutch defender!
The 22-year-old played the full 90 minutes in Lille’s Champions League clash with Chelsea last night, and Lineker thought he was one of the standout players in an otherwise disappointing night for the Ligue 1 side – who lost the first leg 2-0 thanks to goals from Havertz and Pulisic.
He even tagged Leicester City in his tweet about the heavily linked Toon target, suggesting he’s someone he’d like to see pursue this summer – only for Alan Shearer to comment with nothing but black and white emojis!
