Wor Flags have revealed that THREE sides of St James’ Park will be involved in Saturday’s pre-match display ahead of our Premier League clash with Brighton.
They have confirmed that, for the first time, fans sitting in the East Stand will be part of the display inside the stadium, encouraging supporters to get in early and wave the black and white flags placed on their seats before kick off.
Elsewhere, they’ve told The Chronicle that both the Leazes and Gallowgate will hold up displays paying tribute to Eddie Howe ahead of the game after the NUFC boss has helped us go on a seven-game unbeaten run.
Here’s what a spokesperson from Wor Flags told the local paper about the upcoming display, urging fans sitting in the East Stand to get involved:
“We’ve never ventured as far as the East Stand in our displays and with such a big game coming up, we thought ‘why not’?“
“The East Stand will be packed with flags, both small and big, and we’d encourage anyone with a flag in their vicinity to wave one.
“The Gallowgate and the Leazes never let us down, and we’re sure the East Stand won’t either.
“The Leazes has been a big help to us in expanding the displays, and on Saturday we have something prepared that’ll include everyone in the Gallowgate and the Leazes.
“It’s important to the display that people are in their seats in good time before kick-off. We can’t thank everyone enough for the help and support we have received. Let’s do our bit! ”
