Video: Elliot Anderson scores stunning solo goal as Toon talent wows Bristol Rovers fans yet again

Eliot Anderson is at it again, scoring Saturday’s goal of the day in Bristol Rovers’ 3-0 victory over Harrogate Town to put them on the verge of a playoff spot.

The 19-year-old was sent out on loan to the League Two side in January and now has two goals and two assists in ten games for Joey Barton’s side, leaving Rovers fans hugely impressed in the process.

The midfielder cut in from the left side, danced past three Harrogate defenders before slotting it past the goalkeeper and into the far-right corner.

Watch his moment of magic below:

Since joining, Anderson has helped the club to gain 21 points out of a possible 30 – their best form of the season as they continue their push for promotion to League One.

With Newcastle looking for big improvements in the transfer window in the summer, Anderson will have to seriously impress manager Eddie Howe if he is to get himself a spot in the first-team.

His exciting form in the fourth division has also been impressive enough to earn him a second call-up to the Under-21 Scottish National Team – clearly a promising young talent to watch for the future.
