VIDEO: Bruno bags another Brazil assist & Almiron scores brilliant goal for Paraguay

Newcastle United’s South American stars caught the eye in last night’s World Cup qualifiers, with Bruno Guimaraes bagging another assist for Brazil and Miguel Almiron getting on the scoresheet for Paraguay with a fine finish.

Guimaraes was named on the substitutes bench, however he came on for the final 8 minutes of their 4-0 win over Chile and made an instant impact…again!

After receiving the ball from Neymar, he played a perfectly weighted pass into Richarlison’s path before the Everton star cut in and scored to make it four in the 91st minute.

Watch the goal below, seeing Bruno get his second assist in as many games for his country:

Miguel Almiron hasn’t scored or assisted in 24 appearances for Newcastle United this season, but the 28-year-old got in on the action last night with a quality finish.

Paraguay won’t be going to the World Cup in Qatar after struggling in qualification, however they came away with a 3-1 win over Ecuador.
