Bruno Guimaraes has revealed just how much he is loving life on Tyneside, saying he hopes to become a Newcastle legend who goes on to play “100’s of games” for the club.
This came during his brilliant interview on Sky Sports just moments after he headed home at the Gallowgate to help seal a 2-1 win over Leicester on Easter Sunday.
The Brazilian has already become a fan favourite since sealing a £35m move from Lyon in January, not only scoring three goals in five starts, but putting in a host of all-action displays to show exactly why he arrived one of the most highly-rated midfielders in Europe.
Here’s what he had to say after the game:
“I want to be a legend here.
“This is my home.
“I want to play 100’s of games.
“I’m so happy to play for Newcastle.”
